Welcome to BagCheck Baby! By using our website and app, you agree to these terms. We've written them in plain English so they're easy to understand — but they are still legally binding, so please read them before using our service.

1. What BagCheck Baby Is

BagCheck Baby is a web application that helps parents and caregivers create smart, personalised packing lists for outings with babies and toddlers. You describe the outing (destination, duration, weather, child's age) and our AI generates a tailored checklist for you to use, save, and share.

Our service is provided on a credit-based subscription model. Credits are consumed each time you generate a new checklist. Free and paid plans are available as described on our pricing page.

BagCheck Baby is a software tool, not a source of medical, safety, or parenting advice. Always use your own judgement when packing for your child.

2. Your Responsibilities

• You must be at least 18 years old to create an account.
• You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure.
• You agree not to misuse the service — for example, by attempting to reverse-engineer the app, abuse the API, or use automated tools to generate checklists at scale.
• You agree not to use BagCheck Baby for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws.
• The information you provide (child profiles, outing details) is used solely to personalise your checklists. Please do not enter sensitive personal data beyond what is needed.

3. Intellectual Property

The BagCheck Baby brand, design, and underlying software are owned by us. You retain ownership of any content you create (e.g. custom items you add to lists). By using the service you grant us a limited licence to process and display that content solely to provide you with the app.

4. Limitation of Liability

BagCheck Baby is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do our best to keep the service running reliably, but we cannot guarantee it will always be available, error-free, or perfectly suited to your needs.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, BagCheck Baby and its operators will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of (or inability to use) the service — including but not limited to any forgotten items, missed outings, or decisions made based on generated checklists.

Our total liability to you for any claim will not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months prior to the event giving rise to the claim.

5. Account Termination

You may delete your account at any time from the Settings page. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. Upon termination, your data will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

6. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. If we make significant changes, we'll let you know by email or via an in-app notice. Continued use of BagCheck Baby after changes take effect means you accept the updated terms.

7. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which BagCheck Baby operates. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of that jurisdiction.
